MEET OUR HORSES!
Midnight Candy ie. Candy, is a 19 yr. old Thoroughbred mare. She is a light bay with a star and stands 16.2 hands tall. She was a champion A circuit hunter prior to becoming a successful eventer. Candy is a very strong horse and needs a rider with a solid seat. Her favorite treats are apple wafers.
Know No Limits ie. Know No, is a 13 yr. old Thoroughbred mare. She is a bay with a star and snip and stands 16.1 hands tall. She also has white left pastern and some scaring on her right side from a accident as a foal. Know No was an unsuccessful race horse and so started her life as a Pony Club horse in polocrosse and eventing. She now is being used for riding lessons and is wonderful for the most beginner to advanced. She loves to give kisses if you blow on her nose.
Hasty is a 23 yr. old Thoroughbred gelding. He is dark bay with a snip and stands 16.2 hands tall. He has a very sweet temperament and does a fantastic job with unexperienced riders. However, he sometimes forgets he doesn't fox hunt anymore and can get a little excited.
Stoney Ridge ie. Stoney, is a 18 yr. old Welsch cross gelding. He is a buckskin paint with three white stockings and stands 12.1 hands tall. He was bought as a birthday present for my sister and has been difficult to ride from day one. He has been used in Pony Club and 4-H for several years and has participated in Pony Club nationals several times for games and polocrosse. He is sooo cute and such a heart breaker. He enjoys trying to get little girls to fall madly in love with him and then ditches them in front of jumps or rubs them up against fences and trees. He will eat anything you put in front of him. Right now Stoney is being leased to a wonderful family who is using him in pony club and many various shows!
Tango is a 12 yr. old QH cross mare. She is a dunn with four white coronets and blaze and stands 13.1 hands tall. Tango can be a little pushy at times but other than that has nice ground manners. She needs a rider who can be both firm and gentle. She is currently being used in lessons and has been shown over the summer.
Macaroni is a 3 yr.old Welsch cross gelding. He is the 2006 foal of Blossom and at this point stands 13 hands tall. He is a very dark, almost black, bay. He loves to get attention and is a super sweet baby, however he can be very stubborn.
Care Bear is a 15 yr old chestnut mare. She stands 14.2 and is currently starting a new life with us as a lesson horse. She still needs work but has been improving fast and has a sweet heart.
Cassidy is a 12 yr. old QH liver chestnut mare. She stands 15.2 hands and has 3 white legs and a blaze. She is being used as a lesson horse and is loved by everyone! She is a great horse to build up your confidence as a new rider.
Smokey Joe is a 9 yr. old QH/TB cross. He is a dapple gray and stands 17 Hands. He has a very sweet temperament and is learning how to relax with various levels of riders. He has just started his career as a lesson horse and is doing wonderfully.
Stanley is a 6 yr. old TB. He is a dark dappled gray and stands 17.2 hands. We just started working with him in basic dressage and jumping and hope to take him to his first event this summer. He is very gentle and is well mannered both on the ground and under saddle.
Tilly is an 11yr old POA. She is white with little black spots and stands 10 hands. She is currently being used as Jordan's first pony. What a great match they are!! Tilly is very gentle, safe, and adorable.
